Skin laxity and sagging
Skin that has lost its hold and drifts downward.

Volnewmer tightens with monopolar radiofrequency. Ultraformer MPT lifts with focused ultrasound. Your clinic uses both in one appointment.
Indications
Volformer is aimed at skin that has started to loosen and at contours that have lost their definition. These are the concerns it is most often used for, on the face and on the body.

Skin that has lost its hold and drifts downward.

Thinner, less springy skin with lines settling in.

A surface that has turned rough, dull or patchy.

A jawline that has softened, with a heavier face.

Crepey texture and lines across neck and chest.

Looser skin on the arms, thighs and abdomen.

Which areas are appropriate for you is a clinical decision made at consultation. Individual experience varies.

Monopolar radiofrequency · 6.78 MHz
A monopolar radiofrequency current warms the skin to the range that prompts new collagen, while continuous contact cooling keeps the surface comfortable. Most people describe warmth rather than the sting of older radiofrequency machines.

Micro & macro focused ultrasound
Focused ultrasound passes through the surface without treating it, then converges to leave separate points of controlled heat. Micro Pulsed Technology splits each point into micro-units, 25 times finer than conventional HIFU.
Radiofrequency and focused ultrasound, used in the order that suits your skin.
Both devices in one visit. No second course to book three months from now.
No needles and no surgery. You leave the clinic and carry on with your day.
Suitability, protocol and expected outcome are determined by your treating physician at consultation. Individual experience varies.

Common questions about Volformer, the combined radiofrequency and focused ultrasound protocol from CLASSYS, distributed in the GCC by DUBIMED.
Volformer is a single treatment session that combines two CLASSYS systems: Ultraformer MPT, which lifts using focused ultrasound, and Volnewmer, which tightens and refines using radiofrequency. Instead of choosing one or booking them months apart, you get both in the same appointment.
Two things at two different depths. The radiofrequency warms the deeper layers of your skin itself, which encourages your body to build new collagen over the following weeks. The ultrasound passes straight through the surface without touching it and delivers its energy much lower down, at the supportive layer that holds your face up. Firmer skin on top, better support underneath.
Each one only solves half the problem. Tighten the skin alone and the structure underneath is still sitting lower than it used to. Lift the structure alone and the skin covering it is still loose. Volformer treats both in one visit, which is why the combination reaches a range of depth that neither device covers on its own.
It appears to. In a published study, patients had radiofrequency first on one side of the face and ultrasound first on the other. Both orders improved the skin, but radiofrequency followed by ultrasound gave slightly better results for wrinkles. Your practitioner will choose the order based on what your treatment is aiming at.
Most patients describe mild warmth or a feeling of gentle pressure rather than pain. The radiofrequency stage cools the surface of your skin continuously while it works, which is why it tends to feel warm rather than sharp. The ultrasound stage is felt more deeply and only briefly. Tell your practitioner if anything feels uncomfortable, because the settings can be adjusted.
Nothing is cut and nothing is injected, so there is no wound to heal and no recovery period. You can go back to your normal day straight afterwards. Some people notice mild redness or a little warmth for a short while, and that settles on its own.
Some tightening is often visible within days, because the ultrasound contracts tissue straight away. The bigger change is gradual and comes from new collagen forming, so your skin keeps improving over the following weeks and months.
Many patients see a visible difference after a single session, and results keep building afterwards as collagen rebuilds. Whether you need more than one depends on your starting point, and your practitioner will tell you at your consultation rather than in advance.
Results are long lasting but not permanent, because your skin carries on ageing after any treatment. With good skincare and sun protection, many patients choose to repeat the treatment about once a year to maintain what they have gained.
Volformer is most often used on the face and neck, particularly the jawline, the cheeks and the area under the chin, where loss of firmness shows first. Other areas of the body can also be treated in the same visit. Your practitioner will confirm which areas are appropriate for you.
It is generally suited to adults who have started to notice softening along the jawline, looser skin on the neck, or a less defined facial contour, and who want to address it without surgery. Suitability is a clinical decision, so a consultation comes first. Certain medical conditions, implanted devices and pregnancy may mean one or both technologies are not appropriate for you.
A facelift is surgery. It physically repositions tissue, requires anaesthetic and recovery, and produces a bigger change. Volformer is non surgical. It works by stimulating your own collagen and tightening existing tissue, with no incisions and no recovery time, and the change is more gradual and more subtle. They are not substitutes for each other, and your practitioner can tell you honestly which is closer to what you are hoping for.
Both technologies have been used in aesthetic medicine for years and are well studied. In the published study of the combination, side effects were minimal. The most common experiences are short lived redness, mild swelling or tenderness. Volformer should only be performed by a trained practitioner after a proper assessment.
